My Why

The pandemic forced me to explore the creative side of my brain more. Ahtside was SCARY—it forced me to become more creative with my meals at home and deal with grief in ways that didn’t involve work. I had recently moved into a new home and hadn’t thought much about how to make it an extension of me. “Hosting” or having friends and family over to hang out for long periods of time was the last thing on my mind. As someone who identifies as an introvert—hosting actually came naturally to me. At the time I didn’t make the connection as to how my prior experiences would make me a great host.

When I was younger, I worked a variety of jobs that helped develop my “personal touch”; including later owning a boutique that doubled as an event venue.

Now years later I’m applying my midas touch to my cooking, brunch parties (my fave), fight nights, holiday gatherings (second fave), and family gatherings. It brings me joy knowing that at least for a couple of hours my guests can leave their troubles at the door.

These days I’m endeavoring to go after the life I deserve. So, cheers to more laughter, more smiles, more authenticity, more love, more peace, and prosperity. And, don’t forget to dance along the way.
